The Here and Now.

I’m feeling philosophical today and I saw this as the perfect opportunity to write a blog.

It has been built into us that from an early age we need to get the best grades, the best jobs, buy things and this will make us happy – there’s always something else that will make us more happier.

I’ve come to realise recently that I’ve got that wrong. Whilst I’ve been busy focussing on the next best thing I’ve missed the here and now.

Life is not always going to be easy and there are always going to be horrendous days and that is the nature of life. However, life can also give us the most amazing moments.

I guess it’s about being present in what’s happening now and really living it – not rushing and missing the good bits.

I don’t know if my ramblings make sense but it’s good to get them written down!

Have a great day all x
